What makes this boat different from other Freedom Hawk Models?
We designed this boat for anglers wanting to fish in all water conditions. The original Freedom Hawks were designed for shallow water and protected water fishing. This boat was designed for 2-200 feet of water. Additionally we made it to fish “sit-down” as well as any other fishing kayak on the market. We recommend for all day sit down fishing the addition of our elite angler seat.
What accessories should I consider adding to this boat?
If you want to use a motor, the motor mount will be necessary. If you like to site and fish, troll, or have a bad back you should consider the elite angler seat. Fly fisherman should add a fly rod adaptor or the rail mount rod holder. If you fish flats, you should definitely consider adding one of the push poles.

We suggest removing the outriggers. It will lighten the boat to only 60 pounds and also makes it smaller (10 feet).

This is definitely are best paddling boat. V has been added for secondary stability with outriggers closed. Extra volume and Carolina Flare have been added to the bow to help in wind and bigger sea/wave conditions. You should feel comfortable fishing this boat offshore or in big lakes and bays.
